Sunday, Oct 21 | 5pm-7pm
Young artists will be inspired and moved as they learn about the symbolism behind the 10 heads of the demon King Ravana from the Ramayana and why it is burned each year during the Hindu festival of Dassera to celebrate the victory of good over evil. They will use this inspiration to create their own puppet, a puppet that represents something they hope to release or overcome. NOTE: participants need to be prepared to create and then let go of their art.
LEVEL: Ages 9-12 and their grown-ups
COST: $15 Nonmenbers | $10 Members (Price includes 1 child + 1 adult)
