12-1pm: Museum exhibits
1pm: Performance
1:45-2:30pm: Create-A-Puppet Workshops

Guests will be welcomed by staff members who have been trained in interactions with patrons with ASD.

Performance alterations include theater lights dimmed down but not out, consistent sound levels and lower volume of show soundtrack, freedom for children to talk and to leave their seat if necessary, a quiet zone in the lobby, and permission to bring quiet, contained snacks and beverages. Create-A-Puppet Workshop classrooms will be brighter, quieter, and feature less-messy puppet building materials and slightly simplified puppet designs. This modified programming also extends to include our expanded Museum, where lighting will be adjusted and specialized educational activities (such as touch tables and guided storytelling) will be integrated.

Meet the Cast

Actor-musician Dolph Amick kept busy through the summer engineering and mixing two CDs for singing duo Voices of Virtue, and another for Renaissance faire harper Lady Prudence. He also composed music for a puppet performance by Lee Bryan and Jeffrey Zwartjes entitled “A Compendium Of Literary Childhood Traumas”, and the theme for the new podcast series Dreamland. He is currently composing music for Lee Bryan’s touring show Circus Fanta-Sea. After Charlotte’s Web, Dolph will be appearing at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, as well as launching a crowdfunding campaign to fund an album by his country music alter-ego, Pussy Akins. He sends his effusive love to his spectacular wife, Kara, and his amazing son and raison d’être, Valentine.

Nikolas Carleo is thrilled to return for his third season with the Center for Puppetry Arts. He graduated from Columbus State University with a B.F.A in Theatrical Performance and has been pursuing acting in Georgia ever since. His most recent appearances were in Grease as the Teen Angel at the Springer Opera House and as a dinosaur puppeteer with Stone Mountain Park. This performance is dedicated to his late Grandma Barbra.

Anna Caudle is humbled to be returning to the Center for Puppetry Arts after her puppetry debut as Rudolph in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer last winter. This is her third professional production of Charlotte’s Web in the Atlanta area. Anna graduated from Auburn University with a BFA in theatre performance and is proud to be represented by the People Store. Thank you to friends and family for their support and to the Center for Puppetry Arts for this terrific experience!
